Kobus Neethling-ACRE

“My first impressions of Alan Black were shaped when I met him at the Creative Problem Solving Institute in Buffalo in 1991. He demonstrated fun, creativity and a zest for life — not by talking about these qualities, but by living them.”

“He has presented well at several of our conferences combining humor and creativity in a very special way. The feedback regarding his contributions were extremely positive which showed that his message is for all people and all cultures.”
Dr. Kobus Neethling
President: South African Creativity Foundation
Founder & Director of the Annual African Creativity Conference.

second letter from Dr. Kobus Neethling…

Dr. Robert Alan Black has been a colleague of the South African Creativity Foundation since 1994. As an international creativity expert he has contributed significantly to the understanding and application of creativity in education and business.  Because of his knowledge and passion for creativity as a “deliberate” act and his continuous search for innovative creativity the SA Creativity Foundation has invited him to present at our conferences every year the past 14 years….again in 2011 for the 17th annual International Creativity Conference in Africa (ACRE) and the 6th Creativity in Education Conference, both held at Klein Kariba near Bela Bela north of Pretoria.  He has been included in a very special group of creative connoisseurs, know as the WISDOM GROUP, helping and guiding educators and business people to grow and develop personally and professionally.

He was also a member of a small group of creativity education experts was presented at the first ever International Creativity Conference for Educators (Cape Town, Guidini Spa, 2006) and has been invited back to present at each one since including this, the 6th, in 2011.  In 2005 a unique creativity conference for college lecturers was held in KwaZulu Natal (southeastern South Africa)…the students of the 9 colleagues are predominantly Zulu speaking.  The feedback was amazingly positive and most of these colleges have introduced creativity programmes the past two years.

Creativity is not an add-on for Dr. Black—he lives and talks creativity.

Cordially,

Dr. Kobus Neethling

President SA Creativity Foundation and International Author
