Humor Conference 2012: Save the Dates!
Fast-breaking news: The HUMOR Project’s 55th international conference on “The Positive Power of Humor and Creativity” will take place from June 1-3, 2012 at scenic Silver Bay Conference Center! After reviewing hundreds of evaluations from our 2011 conference, we are delighted to report that it was the highest-rated one ever! On a 1-5 scale (with 5 being the highest), we had more ratings of 10 than ever before. We look forward to springboarding off the success of this year’s program in 2012!
We are VERY excited about our line-up for this year. Full details will be available on our www.HumorProject.com Web site in the coming weeks. For those of you on our mailing list, you will receive a print copy of our hot-off-the-press 2012 Humor Sourcebook by the end of this month– see pages 11-23 for more of a sense (of humor) for the 2012 conference.
At our 2011 conference, we were very pleased to honor rescued Chilean miner Edison Pena with the first “Survive AND Thrive” Award (see Edison and Elvis in 2011). At our 2012 conference, we are looking forward to honoringCongresswoman Gabrielle Giffords with this Award– Gabby certainly personifies “Survive AND Thrive.”
