Let Your Ideas Flow

Creativity Challenge 30

"Ideas will fly in our windows, if we've opened them."

This week's Creativity Challenge is to follow Alex Osborn's, creator of brainstorming and the initial Osborn-Parnes Creative Problem Solving Model, quote.

The quote comes from the reprinted version of his book YOUR CREATIVE POWER, published by the Motorola University Press

Many books on creativity and creative thinking share stories of Darwin, Goodyear, Fleming, etc. finding ideas because they were open to them.

Your challenge is to let ideas flow into your mind and then apply them to create ideas and solutions for how to make your office or work space more creatively stimulating.

So either randomly use some of the following items to spark ideas or sit back and let your mind review the past 24 hours and look for solutions or ideas for completely unrelated challenges and use them to generate ideas for making your office or work space more creatively stimulating.

mechanical pencil
clear computer disk storage box
folding step stool
window screen
gaint M&M stuffed toy
box of post cards from friends
old floral baskets
exmpty corrugated boxes

Good luck. Have fun!
