Ideas I didn't Use & Why

Creativity Challenge 47

Most of the Challenges this year have been aimed at paradigm shifting, perspective altering or changing. Here's one focused on idea changing or improving.

Think of a recent challenge or problem.
Recall 3 to 6 ideas that you didn't use.
List the criteria you used to determine that these ideas were not creative enough for you to use.

Now examine each idea to create ways you could improve and make the ideas more creative and more acceptable or useable.

Criteria

  • time
  • How might you improve your unused ideas
  • money for each of these criteria or the
  • resource availability
  • criteria you did you use?
  • acceptability by management
  • provability
  • risk involved

Coming up with ideas is often very easy. Taking them to usable successful solutions often is not.

Have a great week!
