Creativity Challenge 50

Setting the stage. Creating the Environment. Preparing the gates to open. Each of these often must be done in order for our creativeness to function and work for us.

The Osborn-Parnes Creative Problem Solving Process includes 3 steps or stages that "set the stage", prepare us to be creative.

Mess/Objective Finding
      explore opportunities and problems

Fact Finding
      explore knowledge and info:
     known and need to be known

Problem Finding
     explore the problem to verify what it actually is

Challenge #50 is a creative way to gather information and knowledge.

Take the word C.R.E.A.T.E. and treat it as an acronym for information, data or idea sources. Take one letter at a time and write down 6 separate sources or resources that might be able to help you with a problem or challenge.

i.e.:

Starting with "C"....

Using this tool has helped me many times to prepare myself to be more creative by providing insights and ideas of where I could gather information and possibly obtain help.
