Other's Images . . a Creative SourceCreativity Challenge 1999 #2I just returned from 5 days in San Diego, CA participating and presenting at the CEF's Winterfest 99. It was great fun. Lots of creative people sharing and expanding and enriching their creativeness. This week's CC was sparked by an exercise shared by Dorothy Sisk, Ph.D. during one of her sessions on Native American Myths. Find some symbolic paintings or drawings, perhaps a Tarot deck, Native American paintings, Aborigine paintings, African Paintings; ones that are highly pictorial and not merely abstract. Then choose one randomly each day to use. First experience the painting or drawing. Note your thoughts and feelings that develop. Then create a story or myth that teaches a principle of creative thinking.
