Let Your Finger do the WalkingCreativity Challenge 1999 #6This week's CC is meant to challenge your mindset breaking skills. It can be done with a dictionary (general or technical), an encyclopedia (typical or specific per industry or field) or any book or web site that is in the form of a dictionary or an encyclopedia. If using a book, randomly open it to a page and randomly point at a word or item without looking at it initially. If using a web site or other electronic source of info, do a random search by a letter first (a to z), then by 3 threes (i.e.: ant, bys, str) and use the first word or item that is discovered or provided. Now read the item randomly chosen. Then think about how aspects, traits, characteristics about that item could help you with a challenge you are now working on. Then for the sake of this list, think about how aspects, traits, characteristics about that item could help make "brick walls" or "walls of brick" more creative. Do this each day, Monday through Friday, with a different randomly chosen item or word and share the results throughout the week. Let's see if we can generate 144, 288, or more ideas this week for how to make a "brick wall" or a "wall of brick" more creative. Have fun and choose to be more creative each day. Remember the future is always our's to create! Prev Page Next Page Index Page© 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 Robert Alan Black, Ph.D. CSP |
