Challenge with Your Imagination
Creativity Challenge 1999 #14
Two characteristics of highly creative people are that they are
1) "severely critical" (they tend to continually challenge everything) and they
2) can use their imaginations.
Practice both of these this week.
a. take a dozen blank index cards and write down issues, concerns, things, products that you believe can or need to be improved.
b. place them in an open box and shake them up or simply shuffle them like playing cards
c. then each morning or some other time during the day you choose, randomly pick one
d. then for 5 to 7 minutes write down everything about it that ought, should, could, must, need to be changed or improved about it
e. then choose one and take 5 to 7 minutes to let your imagination go, imagine the ultimate, the most perfect future for the challenge. Perhaps you can find a quiet place and get into a restful position, close your eyes and let your internal eye, your imaginative mind, produce the ideal situation.
Have fun using your imagination and practice challenging this week
Your level of creative thinking skill can be improved. It is up to you.
It is your choice.
