Often we talk about coming up with "breakthrus" when in actually what we are needing is "breakaway froms". This week practice creating, developing, discovering..."breakaway froms".

Monday-First time

Choose a simple product and list 6 to 12 new uses for it.

Tuesday-Second time

Choose one of the 6 to 12 ideas and list 6 to 12 ways to make it "even newer"

Wednesday-Third time

Take one of the "even newer" ideas and list 6 to 12 newer ways to use them.

Thursday-Fourth time

Take one of the "newer" ideas and list 6 to 12 "even more newer" uses and ways to improve them.

Friday-Fifth time

Take one of the "even more newer" ideas and be as imaginative and open-minded, future-oriented as you can be and list 6 to 12 "breakaway from" ideas.

Lastly compare the first 6 to 12 to the last 6 to 12. Notice how they are different.
