Simple Life, Better Life or Life Full of GadgetsCreativity Challenge 2000 #50One of the things I have discovered about highly creative people to the people who are trying to increase or recapture their creativeness and creative thinking skills has been that they enjoy taking time to think about things that others do not. My creativity challenge I am offering to you this week is to encourage you to take 15 to 30 minutes each day, Monday through Friday, to think about something that you may not normally think about. I offer the following as one "something for you to think about". While daily reading Bob Samples book: The Metaphoric Mind I came across the following statement... "Laden down with gadgets." I began thinking about whether I was or not. So the challenge I am offering you this week is to think about how that statement affects you and others. What does it mean to you? I am suggesting you consider a specific and a little different perspective each day. Analysis, concentrated thought, rational thinking, focused review are all convergent mental skills. Let's practice them this week. Monday

Enjoy your focused convergent thinking time each day. Also I wish that also fill your day with many times of fun divergent thinking. Best wishes for a wonderful and creative week. Prev Page Next Page Index Page© 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 Robert Alan Black, Ph.D. CSP | |
