Dive into the Information and Discover Diamonds

Creativity Challenge 2001 #26

This week my sparking source was all three

  1. THE WRITER'S IDEABOOK by Jack Heffron
  2. FICTION WRITER'S BRAINSTORMER by James W. Smith, Jr.
  3. PENCIL DANCING by Mari Messer
Creative thinking and creative ideas often come from simply diving right in and filling our minds with information, doing research.

MONDAY find out who created baseball, football, basketball, tennis

TUESDAY find out the names of the past 24 Miss America candidates from your state or Ms Universe from your country

WEDNESDAY pick a simple object and find out who invented it

THURSDAY pick a famous person you admire and read about them for an hour

FRIDAY compare 3 to 6 automobiles from different countries and list how they are similar and different

Wallas talked about Preparation being one of the primary four steps to creative thinking. This week practice preparing.

Have a creatively great week. Treat yourself a little each day.
