Curiosity Makes for CreativenessCreativity Challenge 2001 #35This week my sparking source is PENCIL DANCING by Mari Messer I opened the book to her chapter 20 titled Can the Cat Kill Your Curiosity and this Challenge was sparked. This week experience and practice being curious. MONDAY
That a walk through the books in your home and pick ones that you are curious about. Once you have a pile of 6 to 12 then pick one at a time and open them randomly and read a paragraph to a page. Then continue to do this until your allotted time is up or you have done it with each of the 6 to 12 books. TUESDAY
Go to a magazine/newsstand and randomly look at a paragraph from 6 to 12 different articles from 6 to 12 different magazines. WEDNESDAY
Go to your closest mall or shopping center and wander in and out of stores that catch your curiosity that you normally never go in. I recommend that you not go in for a specific purpose. If ideas spark related to things you need ideas for write them down of course and move on. THURSDAY
Go watch a group of children play and try to imagine what is going on in their minds. FRIDAY Go watch a group of older people, 70+ and try to imagine what is going on in their minds and hearts. Be more curious than you usually are this week. Prev Page Next Page Index Page© 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 Robert Alan Black, Ph.D. CSP | |
