Creating Metaphors to Produce Creative Thinking

Creating Metaphors has often sparked creative thinking in idea generation sessions I have participated in or run. This week spend time each day creating your own metaphors related directly to pieces of creative thinking and problem solving: ideas, thoughts, solutions, problems, challenges, sessions.
Choose a different word related to creative thinking or problem solving and generate a dozen (standard or baker's) different metaphors that are new. If an "old" one comes to mind add it to your list but do not count it in your "daily dozen". Fill your metaphor carton each day with fresh, grade A, metaphors.
