Synonyms & Antonyms & homonymsCreativity Challenge 2002 #28Making our minds more instantly flexible can always help expand and enrichen our creative thinking abilities. This week let's experiment with synonyms and antonyms and homonyms. Get yourself a dictionary and a thesaurus. First randomly flip through a dictionary, a fiction book or a newspaper and randomly select 30 words other than little words (a, an, the) or prepositions or pronouns. Second write each one down on a separate index card or piece of paper. Then each morning pick 3 to 6 to work/play with. MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY When possible add words from other languages that are synonyms or antonyms for your chosen words throughout the week. Have a creative, unique, novel, unusal or dull, boring, routine, monotous week. Alan © 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 Robert Alan Black, Ph.D. CSP |
