At 4:03 pm est Saturday, July 27th, Tyler Jackson Beasley was born to my daughter Jessica and her husband Jack Beasley. He weighed in at 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. A healthy baby boy. Mom and Dad are doing well and very happy.

Perhaps you can join me in my daily challenges creating gifts for my first grandson.

MONDAY
Think and create journeys I will take him on during his life. What journeys would you take your first grandson on?

TUESDAY
Write a story about his grandmother, who is watching this wonderful event from heaven so that he will know how beautiful and loving she was. Which relative(s) would you write a story about for your grandchildren who are no longer here on Earth?

WEDNESDAY
Practicing writing rhyming words to create my own Dr. Suess type books. Write your own version of Green Eggs and Ham. I certainly will read him many Dr. Suess books as he grows up.

THURSDAY
Create the beginning of a fable about he came into the world. What would the fable of your children by like?

FRIDAY
Invent a secret life and use it to tell him bedtime stories. What would your secret life be like?

Have fun using your imagination this week. Take time each day to enjoy your families.
