Experiencing leads to curiosity leads to creativityCreativity Challenge 2002 #44Many of my CCs over the past 6 years have been work intensive, perhaps similar to what exercise coaches push their people through..."no pain no gain" in principle or theory. This week's challenge(s) are simply for the fun of doing them. You will need to take some time to set up the resources for each one. First collect several photography, travel, architecture or art books. Second collect several audio tapes, cds, dvds of the music or natural sounds you absolutely love best. Third collect things with many different textures, surfaces, finishes: natural, animal, insect, human or machine made Fourth collect things with many scents. Fifth collect many different samplings of foods: raw to cooked, hot, warm, cold or frozen. MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY Have fun being curious. Perhaps you can mix in some new previously unknown to you sensory experiences and attempt to tap the curiosity you once had as a child. Please share some of your experiences with the list.
