Make Your Own StoriesYou will need a vcr or a copy machine for this week's challenge.
If using a VCR set your vcr to record only 5 minutes of 5 or 6 separate programs
during the day before. If using a copy machine or old books and magazines simply
copy random pages from five or six different books, stories or magazine articles
or simply mark random pages from the books, stories, etc.
MONDAY ? Who Done It?
Watch your vcr creation or read the collection of pages and write a mystery story
out of the montage of what you have recorded or read.
TUESDAY - Romance novel
Watch your vcr creation or read the collection of pages and write a historical
story out of the montage of what you have recorded or read.
WEDNESDAY ? Situational Comedy Show
Watch your vcr creation or read the collection of pages and write a situational
comedy show out of the montage of what you have recorded or read.
THURSDAY ? Cooking Show
Watch your vcr creation or read the collection of pages and create a cooking show
out of the montage of what you have recorded or read.
FRIDAY ? New Game
Watch your vcr creation or read the collection of pages and create a new game out
of the montage of what you have recorded or read.
The goal is to challenge you to use randomly selected pieces to create a new
creative product.
Please send examples of your results. I'll collect them and share them all later
with your approval.
