Hello Creativity Challenges virtual friends Last week I went to Chicago to take dancing lessons for a week with a beautiful friend. Because of several weather delays on Sunday I did not send out this CC 2003-33. Here goes. Purchase or find a book of 8 Crayola crayons or any other brand you choose and some blank white paper and a couple sheets of blank construction or other type of paper that crayons can mark on. This week the Challenge is to explore color and free-flowing drawing. Each day spend time using color to draw, mark, sketch. There is no need to focus on a finished work simply experience the color of the day and the crayon. Learn from it and your intuition and subconscious mind. MONDAY Take out the black crayon and work on a sheet of white paper. The goal is to experience the crayon and the color, lines, shapes, textures not necessarily create a drawing. TUESDAY Take out the green crayon and work on a sheet of white paper. The goal is to experience the crayon and the color, lines, shapes, textures not necessarily create a drawing. WEDNESDAY Take out the orange crayon and work on a sheet of white paper. The goal is to experience the crayon and the color, lines, shapes, textures not necessarily create a drawing. THURSDAY Take out the red and blue crayons and work on a sheet of white paper. The goal is to experience the crayon and the color, lines, shapes, textures not necessarily create a drawing. FRIDAY Take out the white and yellow crayons and work on a sheet of black paper. The goal is to experience the crayon and the color, lines, shapes, textures not necessarily create a drawing. Have fun experiencing and learning the materials, the medium. Deliberately do not focus on creating anything simply do. Please share your reactions and experiences.
