From 1960 until 1984 I was a licensed architect, interior designer, graphics & signage designer, television news writer and editor, freelance cartoonist and writer and a college professor of architectural and interior design.

Since 1984 I have been working full-time in the US and around the World as a creative workplace consultant helping individuals, teams, departments and organizations develop Cre8ng Communities throughout.

Since 1970 I have had over 500 articles published on creativity, leading, communicating teamwork and have authored or co-authored over 40 books in the US and a mix of other countries.  My weekly Alan’s Cre8ng Challenges has been running now continuously since January 1997.

Last year I did 4 webinars on creativity: 1) Broken Crayons: Tapping into Your Creativity, 2) Creative Thinking Styles, 3) Creative Thinking Tools, 4) Ideation Spaces in Your Workplace.
